What we offer

The Institute of Arts, Media and Computer Games: Bringing Industry into the Classroom

In the Institute of Arts, Media and Computer Games we aim to educate our students to be the innovators and ground breakers in tomorrow’s computer games and digital media industries. Learner experience places high value on contextualized vocational skills and knowledge. Within delivery and assessment emphasis is placed on sustained project activities, contextualized knowledge, strong communications and professional practice.

All our courses are Skillset accredited and the Institute has been awarded Skillset Media Academy status. The Institute is a member of Playstation First, Sony Computer Entertainment’s university liaison programme.

We have strong links with major companies and through those links we ensure that people from industry are directly involved in delivering part of all our courses. We offer a wide range of courses, ranging from games programming design and development, to modelling and animation.
