We represent the interests of the German computer game industry and are dedicated to presenting Germany as an attractive location for the development of entertainment software.

Game industry association

What we offer

G.A.M.E. not only represents the “big players” in the games industry, but also champions smaller developers and start-ups that have innovative ideas and expertise, but no financial resources. G.A.M.E. co-organizes and co-sponsors the German Computer Game Award (Deutscher Computerspielpreis) and is the patron of the German Game Developers Award (Deutscher Entwicklerpreis).

G.A.M.E. also helps its junior members find financial backing and build up a network within the industry. G.A.M.E. enables them to attend exhibitions and international delegations both using available regional and national subsidies and support from its larger, more financially secure members. One notable success was G.A.M.E.’s joint stand at the gamescom 2011, which was sponsored by Berlin-Brandenburg’s Ministry of Economics, where 27 companies were represented.
